If you need a "fix database" option even when most users don't directly edit the database, you can see something was wrong from the start.

Pointshop 2 is a great alternative to PS1 due to things such as Kamshaks DLC's, though so many bugs, every 5 minutes there is an error, playermodels can be dodgey on it, databases are broken from it, so on, so forth
Don't forget the error that makes your server unplayable via rubberbanding.

Hmmmmm, might consider using this for my server when it comes out. We need a PS2 alternative. I don't know how popular this addon will be right off the bat though as it seems there isn't in-game item creation, at least not mentioned in the documentation. People might feel used to that by now. Just hope that it will come sometime within the next month.
Kamshak needs to get on top of his shit with PS2. It's such a good addon when you don't have any errors.
No in-game item creation at the moment but I may make a module which can automatically generate the contents of an item file for you, making item creation easier.
Script is scheduled to release this week, I just have to deal with some stuff IRL before that

Only peeped the documentation a little, but something you should do is make dummy functions/classes under the name of the current PS2 ones that redirect to yours. That way any addon that supported PS2 will support yours. Although, saying that, there may be issues with items, but idk how you've set up your tables ect.

Without things like automatic in-game item creation, it'll be really hard to push as a PS2 alternative. Maybe like a month down the line Shendow will add some more features and it will act more as a replacement. In the meantime new servers will probably flood to the script anyways because most people don't want to use PS1 by _Unknown and PS2 seems to be off the market for a while. (looks like Kamshak has also gotten the DLC disabled too now)
