ScriptEnforcer Closing - Must Read (NOT ScriptFodder)

I'd use the reply feature but I don't want to be spammy.Thank you for informing me of a few events I wasn't aware of. I've never personally talked with him or had any contact for that matter. I was aware he'd done some bad things to people, but what you've told me makes me understand a lot more why the more dominant members have a hatred for him. Wow, kinda mind blow by some of the shit you've just told me.However, does that justify even people who know nothing about him to join the hate train?? Just people who saw the notification to the thread and thought "Let's write a mean post because everyone else is". Because I fully understand anyone who lost script functionality because of what he did, but the people who maybe ran 1-2 scriptenforcer scripts don't have much of a place to be angry imo. The content creator will fix the scipt in a matter of days. This is all just my opinion and I personally disagree with hate trains. But an opinion is an opinion. If you think that all this hate from every party is justified, I hold nothing against you for that.Side note: Thank you for going in depth with some of the stuff he's done, I wasn't aware and you educating me is really appreciated <3
People are always going to join the hate train regardless of who it is. The thing that's different about this though is the amount of people who have been affected by ScriptEnforcer. Work has been created due to his sudden disappearance as developers are now required to have their code out in the open, and are forced to update their scripts. Server owners, whom a lot do not know the first thing about Lua, are now being forced to figure out what's going on. These errors are popping up ruining their servers, and so naturally they're angry since it's something that should not have happened. When you get personally affected, you want to voice your issues. Where do you do that if the person isn't even reachable now? The answer - this thread, aka why we've seen these sorts of posts.
I have no problem explaining and I could easily go into more details with other things that he's done, but there's no need to. We'll all move on from this within a week, give or take.

You sir, have hit the nail right on the head. This is pretty much the best summary anyone is going to give (and not bash the person we're talking about). Aka -- a professional insight as to what has been going on.
Appreciate it Richard. Would have been better not to have to worry about the mess that was left, but what's done is done.
I feel a little bit responsible for the disagreements.
If I had spent energy in making things that are actually really useful for people (instead of wasting time to code amazing but empty boring servers), maybe I would have an alternate service to show you. Now that competitors will show up soon, I think it's stupid to start working for a poor new service of my own.
I'm sorry about this for every victim.

ScriptEnforcer was never good, it was just used because people had no alternative. Either way, securegmod is in beta testing and it makes SE (and any other drm I've seen to date) seem completely useless.

Would it be okay for you to explain some interesting features it has?

- Acts as a DRM (Serverlists and shit)
- No need to register your server (Idk why scriptenforcer had that ??)
- Scripthook and lua cache proof
- Actually good obfuscation (If they get that far)
- No module
More info later :v
I know little about "securegmod", was there a thread or post I've missed, maybe this information just gained through talk between Content Creators? Or?
Like who's developing it? I really don't know anything about it, just whats been posted in this thread.

How is it authenticated? No authentication? Just drag + drop and it runs?
I used ScriptEnforcer for a whole three days before completely abolishing it altogether - At least now I feel better knowing the effort was worth it.
And now for that latest news on Phoenixf129.
Class-action lawsuit time?
Friendly reminder than spamming us is useless, a fix is on the work by meepen and the guys in the closed beta.
###Just be patient
The more time you spend complaining to us, the less time we spend working on the problem.
Critical updates were released on my side.

I dont't even know this kid and he's acting like a cocky oldfag
I remember when Phoenix used to talk to people like he was the big I am, now he's dropped contact with most people and is making a run for it. SE was always a corrupt DRM and he always tried to defend himself, looks like it's proven now.

Friendly reminder: That guy is a child predator.
Not even joking, his friend got banned from SF and asked me to host a server for him. I was on there one day fixing code when I evesdroppedo n a coversation about sexual encounters with young boys, which he claimed was totally ok if he did it.
On topic though, what a scummy way to go. Yknow, Phoenix banned me from his Discord server because I kept rating a user dumb. Rather than the user blocking me, he banned me. When asked about it, he was the rudest cunt possible.
I'm glad I decided against using ScriptEnforcer

You have been banned from most Discord servers for doing that with your annoying bot. Turn that shit off already.
I have bought a lot of scripts from this website..... why man why....
