Need some advice
Hey
First off, don't bitch at me about how macs are shit for gaming, I am not buying it for gaming, but for School work.
Anyhow, I need your opinion. Should I buy an Apple MacBook Pro with an i7 500GB hard drive and 4GB RAM
or
An Apple iMac 21.5 INCH, CORE 2 DUO 3.06GHZ, 4GB RAM, 1TB HDD
Sort of edging to the MacBook, easier to move around and cheaper.
Thanks
-Tom
CORE 2 DUO
ayyy
Windows For The Win lol
But probably the macbook if you need it portable

I use windows currently, Mac is better for the courses I'm doing so that's why
Fair enough i guess, what ever rocks your boat Or is it floats your boat lol
hackintosh
I wouldn't expect much from the Dual Core processor, lmao.
Just get an ultrabook or a netbook. .. and don't listen to these mongs - duo is fine, your battery will last longer and you don't need it to have i7 because you most likely won't be rendering videos or doing any cpu-heavy tasks anyways.
Edited Get a chromebook, you'll save yourself fuckton of dosh.
don't buy either of these, if it has a hdd in it, it's bad

Thanks for the feedback. Main reason I was looking at getting a Mac is because I am doing video production, but they are some good ideas. Thanks for the feedback :D

Mac is fine then - it's a good solution for music/video makers.

yup, i vouch for this, my HDD only goes about 20mbps fast when NOTHING is using it which is rare. my SSD goes twice as fast so fuck HDD's (buy one for gmod tho that game piles up)
also if you're looking for a cheap mid-end core, I'd recommend an AMD one, they're cheap, powerful enough to satisfy the non-hungry performance person.

Actually my main machine runs an AMD core and an ssd and I really like it. Very nice for the price

I had AMD for 4 years, FX-8350 to be precise. I'm not using it as an indoors heater (not even kidding).
