What happens when the dev does not know what the problem is and can't assist you with your problem with a script on here and he states "It should be working". I've been having a problem for over a week now and the dev does not know how to fix it. The script is among one of the top scripts too.

How about actual details? Or are we expected to play charades here? How many words? Syllables?

Charades is pretty fun, but it was more of a hypercritical, I obviously know that the error is like a 1 in a million chance as so many people use the script perfectly fine, but the script doesn't appear to work for me. Read my reply to luna.

Edited https://prnt.sc/hjogcs the conversation continues on. But here is part of the conversation.

Sorta hard to give any ideas when we don't even know what issue you're having, and you paste literally one reply out of the entire ticket.

The issue is, he stated I corrected installed the lua side, but the console is spitting out the error of

Prometheus repeated error of 01:45:45 - 26/11/2017] Neither MySQLoo or tmysql4 module could be loaded! Please go to http://wiki.prometheusipn.com/index.php?title=Installation:lua_prerequisites and follow the instructions on how to install MySQLoo or tmysql4!

Learn how to read.

He said I set it up correctly, so I mean.... I read through the entire wiki, that's why I contacted him, because it wasn't working.

You made it look like you didn't even know what that error meant. These are the files that should be copied over.

Windows (mysqloo)

  1. libmysql.dll in the same folder as srcds.exe
  2. gmsv_mysqloo_win32.dll in garrysmod/lua/bin

Linux (mysqloo)

  1. libmysqlclient.so.18 in the same folder as srcds.exe
  2. gmsv_mysqloo_linux.dll in garrysmod/lua/bin

It could possibly be your host, but I'm not too sure about that.

I am using a VPS with root access, it's on ubuntu 14.04. I am not the most developed with Ubuntu yet as I am still learning, but I have had my ways around. The thing is, it worked previously, after I reset my box, it didn't work anymore.

Go to your servers root directory (where srcds_linux & srcds_run are) and run this:

wget https://github.com/syl0r/MySQLOO/raw/master/MySQL/lib/linux/libmysqlclient.so.18;mkdir -p garrysmod/lua/bin;cd garrysmod/lua/bin;wget https://github.com/syl0r/MySQLOO/releases/download/9.5/gmsv_mysqloo_linux.dll

Or don't use a ghetto-ass VPS & use a good host (cough) with a mod manager

Do you have logs from your server showing errors? That would be the first place to start.

You may close this thread, I recently got a response and the issue is now resolved.
