PayPal payment issues
We are currently having a major outage with PayPal.
It seems like they decided to move the APP ID from our previous account (GmodStore Ltd) to our new account (Everyday AS) on a Sunday with no way to get a response from their technical support. This means we don't know when payments will be working again. I have emailed them and I am looking for other ways to get a response as soon as possible.
You may think that "Oh, if they have moved your APP ID, surely you can just go view the new credentials and enable access?" - yeah, no that's not how it works. Since the API is deprecated they have in fact removed the ability to check and manage your APP IDs for that API. We also have no replacements at this time because that is also something they don't want anyone who doesn't have a revenue of $2M++ revenue yearly to have.
In short, PayPal moved our APP ID without enabling access to actually use the APP ID, on a day where technical support most likely won't answer us.
Update: Against all odds, we have actually gotten a response from PayPal and they are investigating it as we speak.
Update 2: Turns out API access is actually enabled, although it still isn't working. They are looking in to it.
I hope this will be quickly fixed.
Paypal ... great responsibility for customer service more than bad.
