Questions related to the English language
Hey,
I'm working on my new addon and i'm not sure exactly how to call things.
Here is the deal, my very first addon on gmodstore was called Permanent Properties.
I'm remaking the whole addon with ton of new shit, but since it's a new addon and it does not support the same things, i don't think i can call it "Enhanced properties"
I'm not sure -in english- how to call a place which can be rented/owned but is also a house/apartment.
I've been told "Property" is not the correct word since it means you own the place so it does not meet the "you can rent it" requirement.
I'm not sure Home is right since i doubt it's an Home is no one owns it.
I'm planing to use this word (the word i'm looking for) in the addon name so it had to imply it does not only support houses and allow the player to purchase the "home" permanently and rent it if he wants.

How does Enhanced Homes sounds ?
A home is the place you currently live in.
You can make a house a home.
So what would be the right word ?
"Enhanced Homes", "Enhanced Houses", "Enhanced Properties" etc. all sound pretty shitty. Why not just have a completely different name altogether? You could rebrand it to something like "GHomes" for example

The thing is at the very start Permanent Properties was only about purchasing houses, not rent them or not even buy apartments, since the new is going to support much more things, i can't keep the same name.
Or something dealing with "Real-estate", "Estate", or "Realty" since those usually deal with rentable and buyable. Some people also term them as "Loft".

But those still are terms used for people who own it. Equity would make more sense, however for use in the name of the addon, not so much.

Here in the UK, we have many languages. I for one, speak fluent Yorkshire so I do not pronounce my T's, Call a "horse" an "oss". We also have down south who are a bunch of bellends speaking nonsense, then there is the geordies, scousers, who you have no idea what they're chattin. Bare shit really. Either way it's broken here so do whatever the hell you want.
