Just got my entire addons leaked

all 3 of the addons you've mentioned are protected by DRM

What can I do to fix this

No sorry, I made this post on behalf of the server owner, I can give you his steam id or whatever you need to validate. I can get him to respond to this post as needed.

Those screenshots are from the "Dev" Fury who came in and admitted to leaking it.

They all belonged to me.

Edit - Honestly this is why I don't trust people with ftp, This was my first time. AND, You guys got it wrong, I did pay for vcmod and all the rest of the addons.

Ok if you are going to make a post behalf someone else then don't do it let the someone else come and do it. Ok so they are your addons but someone else leaked them? I think this punishable for the both of you. Now is it true that you used leaked addons? It is not against the rules but its very hated here to use them.

I've paid for all the addons though? Confussed, I've paid for vcmod and vcmod els, and the bwhitelist and all the rest I've been using. AWarns can just be the free verison a friend is letting me use their t-store or whatever it's called and the rest are honestly free.

We frown upon the use of leaked addons, the developer even tried to get us to use some leaked addons (claiming he had over 600 leaked addons which we saw via Discord screenshare) We had no intention of this happening. We are trying to solve this issue because if we lose our addons because some kid decides he has "All the right in the world" it would be devastating to us. We are tight enough on our budgets if we lose our essential addons we are screwed.

I came on his behalf because I am still new to managing a Garrys Mod community, I have experience with other games just not entirely with Garrys Mod. I am not sure of how everything works on this end.

Ok so they are your addons but someone else leaked them? " No WE owned the addons, we gave an individual we thought we could trust with FTP access. We had to revamp the server with a newer staff team because people were getting incompetent (ergo we had to ban him) I started streaming today and he comes in my chat exclaiming he had leaked my addons. A friend of his also released a gay porn link in my chat.... - So please my mind is already hurting me from this nonsense. I really don't want my friend here losing his hard earned money.

We never gave him permission to copy any files, we never gave him permission to distribute the addons, we only gave him permission to assist in the development in the server. We never used leaked addons and we never will.

The reason we are making this post is because he made these claims, we are unsure if our VCMOD and other protected addons are leaked. We would like to see if it is possible to have our addons locked and be given new ones in case they havent been leaked already. I dont want this kid mooching off of the owners money.

Just checked VCMod copies usage, not leaked so far.

@freemmaann @Billy Is there any way to have the copies terminated and us receiving new copies with a new id to prevent Piracy of the addons. I am really hoping nothing is going to happen but I do not know anymore. What next steps can we take or do you have any suggestions for us?

Also by us I mean just the owner aka my friend who purchased the addons.

This would help me us a lot with less stress.
