Best place to advertise servers?
TBH, I still may do it for myself... but make it more than a server list. Maybe GMod Web essentials or something, idk. It depends if I find the time. If anyone wants to help/partner or whatever, hmu.

This is something I literally made in a few hours. Also, I didn't use tables because I like the responsiveness, but that doesn't seem to matter now that I think of it.. I might as well switch to tables. I know this looks like every other site, but I didn't care to think of how to make it different. Why? Because i thought about it, and one needs competition. Also, he isnt the firsts person ever to think of this, but people didn't see gmod as a large enough community to do this.
Also, it won't be just a server list. I was planning on creating something that acts as an API and all that, but the server list may as well be a part of that.

You never planned it from the start, you even legitemently came out and said you where going to do what Nooky wanted to do which means you're stealing his idea.
Sure it's a popular topic but you still wouldn't have had the idea if nooky asked about it. This is why I can't trust people on this site with my ideas for criticism, ain't the first time this shit has happened.
respectfully, the first person who comes up with an idea should continue transforming it into a project. on the other hand, if you think you can make it 10x better than the first guy's idea, go for it. but be prepared for some harsh backlash if you can't provide. because then it's just intellectual parasitism.

Prove to me that he didn't remind me of an idea from long ago? Maybe I have thought of an alternative to gametracker before and I just forgot about it. You can't read my mind, nor can you assume things correctly. Assuming makes an ass out of you and me (Mostly you).
I also suggest that you stop arguing with me. This has gotten off topic of the OP. You just like to bash people, huh. Cancerous.
On a final note, Typad, you essentially hijacked my post by saying "I'M GONNA DO THIS" and then posting your own progress. It's typically poor manners to do so, even if the idea isn't entirely original.
Either you took my idea, or you hijacked it and made your progress the focus, either one is in poor taste.
Going to close this thread. I'm going to work on this project regardless.
