What is the difference between Prometheus blur skin (complete) and Prometheus custom skin (user end)?

Blur skin is pre-made but the client can request stuff like background and color changes

Custom is completely up to the client how they want Prometheus to be styled.

User end is what the user will see Complete is what the admin and user will see

Super quick and easy transaction. I would highly recommend this user!

Considering he said the design was copied from icefuse, it was made to be a clone, albeit a bad one.

Whatever the customer wants man.

It's been modified heavily by the customer himself but the structure is similar. But if I'm getting paid good to make something I'd make whatever they want me to make.

I also want to let you know that this doesn't account for all resolutions. The "Show Me More" button is over the twitter thing.

I wasn't paid the responsive fee so I didn't check that much for it. It worked fine when I had the old font on but the new one he's using is pretty hardcore on everything.

The fact you're wanting to charge more for a responsive website is a joke. Every single website made should be responsive in todays world with the large amount of mobile users. Have you ever worked in a professional environment? Because 'responsive' isn't even asked because it's a must.

This is stupid

DDG is known for hardcore trying to copying other people's stuff because they can't think of anything original. I'm not surprised.

I charge for full complete responsiveness, my websites come compact with enough responsiveness to usually not even worry about, but the fact that he modified almost 90% of the product has made it unresponsive due to the massive font size along with some box re-sizes and code modifications.

Lots of people charge fees to make websites completely responsive, I don't know if you've looked in a "professional" environment yourself but I can give you an example if you want.

They may be, I had a similar situation before but on a lower scale without a circle jerk but he was the first customer to come in and pretty much after his job it entered prime time and everyone's asking for new websites, content, etc... So I had no real choice of ignoring the job since I have shit to pay myself unfortunetly.

Also for those wondering I do have high respect for whoever made the design on icefuse (wasn't footsies fyi) it looks beautiful and clean, I try to convince the customer into getting a different design not copying other sites but if they insist I really have no choice unless I have other jobs available to me to finish.

This is my last comment on this situation because there's nothing else to really be said cause he has the product already and what's done is done. Also trust me when I say digital delta isn't the only one asking for icefuse sites anymore as of 2 days ago.

This being said as well, I will no longer take requests to copy designs from other websites, although if the customer wants a structure similar (such as a websites rules structure) I'll take inspiration from that unless I can find another source, but apart from that I'm no longer taking these requests to copy any more designs.

I've worked (and still am working) as front end developer in a UK agency for a fair amount of time. Every single site we produce, no matter what it is or for, is responsive without any additional charge. Our clients don't ask and we don't ask them if they want a responsive site because, like I said, every website in todays world should be fully responsive. I've got enough experience to know thats fact. Personally and I don't think I'm alone, you shouldn't charge to make a site responsive as well. But web development on here is hardly like 'real-life'.

Everyone works differently, it's an opinionated topic but you shouldn't try to attack someone on the fact they charge for full responsiveness, especially if you're pointing at it in general cause a lot of professional freelancers charge for fully responsive websites.

I don't know much about CSS but what I do know is

Stay safe out there web dev buddies

Also in regards to the extra charge for responsiveness I guess ultimately you should charge people more if it takes more time. Don't undervalue your time, that being said I'm not particularly too sure how time consuming responsive designs are as opposed to non responsive as somebody who has no experience with web design but if the extra time taken is negligible charging more sounds wrong.

I'm not sure about Luna's rates and what is acceptable for this kind of work but has anyone considered that he could be working cheap as it is?

I am still working very cheap at the average rate by other web developers on gmodstore, I'm considering charging hourly sooner or later but for now I set a price for the client.

About the responsiveness, most of my websites come with it, I just don't dedicate my time to it unless it's paid, I charge very low for dedicated responsiveness but regardless I still need to fee them because it takes extra time than it would just making the website.

The Digital Delta site was completely responsive until he replaced some of the fonts, something I don't have control over because he modified the core.

The only reason luna charges for responsiveness is because he's doing it from scratch. Any web dev that doesn't charge for responsiveness and is cheap is almost always using a CSS framework like bootstrap. Otherwise you're looking at every freelance developer or company that charges hundreds of dollars for a full fledged responsive site.

EDIT: Should responsive be something all web developers do? Yes. Is it easy doing it from scratch? No, not really since all websites are different with their layouts. If you use an existing framework, it makes it easier, but at the same time you have lot of CSS being loaded that isn't being used.

Luna uses a framework for all his sites lol. It's also not hard to do from scratch.

Where did you get this from? He uses a framework on ALL of his sites. Look at Lunar Index. He uses materializecss. He can't even make something without a framework because he's not skilled enough to make it from scratch and accomplish the same thing, and quite frankly, not many people are. If he were to do it from scratch, it would take weeks, if not months to complete without bugs and it would not be worth his time.

Nice bait, but super low quality like usual, most my sites use frameworks yes, doesn't mean I don't know how to make them from scratch, frameworks increase the efficiency and decrease time consumed.

If I make something from scratch I'll charge more cause it'll take longer for me to create all the css elements and js scripts than it would using a framework.

Come back with some actual bait next time and not your usual shit.
