To be honest, I don't really like the look of the map you have shown. It looks like Roblox Battle Tycoon 2 (Really boxy look, lack of detail, and nothing to fill the huge empty space.
but are more then capable gLua developers
To back this up, I would show some past work your team has developed.
I follow the wishes of my commissioner, he drew me a specific layout and even went as far as to build some in game to assure I was building it to his specifications. If someone was interested in something more spherical build thats something Id be more then capable of doing.
it a graphic not meant to be used as a display.
Who cares? It is a nice picture I don't see the big deal. What are you supposed to do, take a picture of your code and have that image?
I mean, it says gLua but it isn't gLua code, so I thought there was a bit of a discrepancy there.
yep, once again its a graphic not meant to be something that shows off our ability as a dev group
Do you have any code examples to provide? GitHub maybe?
I happen to like the map
I'd advise you get a bigger portfolio before getting your name out there, the map looks fine but it isn't really special in any way and if I was to hire a mapper I probably wouldn't take it as proof of competence. As for the coding, again, I'd recommend building up a bigger portfolio as opposed to one gif showing an MOTD you made.
Not everyone has a portfolio (me, for example) but it's generally a really good thing to have so I'd focus on that first especially given you're not really known in this community so people probably won't rely on you being trustworthy prior to hiring you.
P.S. That domain is really long, I'd shorten it ton us-development or something.
Google has a new .dev tld domain coming out soon. unitedsource.dev would look great
if you join my discord from my website you can see all the clients reviews in my #reviews-source channel. I don't rely on my content to prove i'm trust worthy, I rely on the fact that i'm representing a long standing brand for trust. You can message any single person in my discord with the client role and they will give you they own honest opinion about our development skills. I should've included this in this post but in our discord under announcements you can see it. when I released our website ( which wasn't long ago ) I added that what is currently on our website isn't a full representation of our capabilities as a development provider.
Would be awesome to see some actual vgui work and addons!

Those UIs really dont look good
Hmm, I appreciate the criticism but I'm assuming you've never heard the saying if you have nothing nice to say don't say it at all? Or maybe at least structure your sentence in a constructive manor :D In addition I never claimed they were meant to be amazing in terms of UI, just simply showing off the systems I've created.
If you're a chef, why would you show off a horrible-tasting dish?
Are you hungry?
