Rythius It won't support other inventories however I plan to allow importing from other inventories, what inventory do you want to import from?

Is there going to be support for other inventories, or is there a way to import all of the players inventories in my server to your inventory?

I'm 100% certain most of you would purchase the cheap "AirBuds" which are an extremely cheap version of "AirPods". I don't see any difference here. Brick is offering a whole lot of content for one low price. I see no problem with this. If he wants to sell his work that cheap, it's his choice. It's not like he's gone and copied everyone else's code and claimed its his. His price for his time and effort is his choice alone. So stop giving him shit for it.

GLWS - This doesn't happen a lot, so it's nice to see an addon at an affordable price that includes what you need, although I would still happily pay upwards of $40 for all this as i'm sure anyone else in the right mind would.

You lot crying about him "copying" other people's addon is like Tesco running to Asda and saying "Hey, you also make a supermarket, which is what I have. Stop copying me D:"

Livaco I have to say, from looking at your addons, it's not like you aren't guilty of copying either.

DevLogs is literally just a straight up UI redo from Owain's UpdateNotify.

NoSay is a script that's included with most chatboxes anyway, you've just went out of your way to make it it's own addon.

My point is, although the ideas may be the same, I'm sure there are lot's of underlying features you don't see because you haven't bought the addon.

If someone decides to make something all in one it will actually fix lots of problems in a server (the UI matches, it has a lower price, server owners that don't have much to spend will go for this), and as this is a market, selling addons in bundles is an actual strategy I'm sure many will start to use.

Instead of criticizing another person for what they decided to do for their addon (you should be doing that) you should ignore it and focus in making your addons better and more feature packed.

DanFMN In my opinion he is not devaluing other addons but making the quality standards higher. When you sell an addon with custom models, and a 16 in 1 pack that can be purchased for $20 instead of the more than $90 I'm sure purchasing the other addons would cost, you are actually increasing the quality demand of addons, since people will expect addons to have more stuff in order to be received nicely. This is a market so if someone decides that he is going to make an all-in-one and sell it, that is perfectly fine, I can't tell you what to do with your addons just for my convenience or the convenience of others.

I understand where you're coming from and why you packed everyone's ideas into one addon for cheaper, however sleeppyy is right.

You're devaluing other addons. At first glance to a consumer this could be seen as a good thing, however as a content creator this devalues our work. If everyone is going to be making less money as a whole, the motivation and drive to produce addons will be lower. This may not be the case right now, however if your trend continues and consumers see this as the new normal, I can guarantee that there will be a huge chunk of people complaining about prices being too high for what is already considerably low.

I personally value my time and I'm sure others do too. You should consider breaking this trend and perhaps making something original or increase the price.

Copying addons is fine. Ideas are not something unique to you.

If he copied the design that'd be a problem. He is offering a cheaper product than the "original" which is just competition.

Personally the issue I have was that originally you could buy this for $11, $20 is a more decent price even though I still it's too low, and he would have benefited from separating it into several bundles instead. It's too much value, which ultimately devalues GMS scripts like crazy.

But you shouldn't hate on him for using other people's ideas, every person & business does that.

Finnet None of my stuff was stolen, I'm criticising him because he's stealing others addons (including some of my friends). Don't get me wrong I would be equally pissed if he stole an idea from me, but right now that's not the case. I'm well aware my addons can do with improving, it's why I went back to rewrite Advanced Printers and currently have on my todo list to redo my DevLogs UI, but thats not the issue here.

Livaco don't forget that is a competent market, so if you see that someone makes a better addon than yours that has the same quality (and id say better), better price and it is a 16 in 1 for just $20, don't just come and cry over it in the discussion section of the addon to make the author look bad, go and improve your own addons and try to make better ones that outstands the competition, couse you know what? Even tho he used some ideas that weren't his (and some ideas were not even from the "original addon creators" lol) that is not stealing, and as I said earlier, if someone makes a better addon than yours that has the same quality, better price and it is a 16 in 1 for just $20, people are going to get that and not your addon, and that is how a market work whether you like it or not, so go improve your own addons instead of criticizing anyone.

As for SH safezones I copied features that I thought I needed to compete with but I have still added my own things to it and it is still a WIP so I am still adding more features to the zones system.

As for the script individually, with Xenin F4 I may have copied some design aspects but I looked at a lot of different scripts on gmodstore and found design ideas that I liked from each and yes I could have changed the designs a little bit but I decided to do some other things instead and do plan and altering UI designs in the future. As for Xenin Deathscreens, its not really an original idea anyway, Call of Duty exists and my version contains calling cards, emblems and soundtracks along with easily being able to add GIFs and new cards etc in-game. As for PVault, its not really a copy, its just a bank vault which you can unlock and then take money bags from which has been a basic concept in DarkRP for a long time (I can admit that DarkRP Foundation did copy it a bit more however but still not that much).

Livaco I believe you are ignoring the fact that this script contains a lot of unique features as well that haven't already been made on gmodstore, plus this script also includes a very easy to use and extensive in-game config for each module/script included, which none of the other scripts do, this is clearly an improvement on those scripts in that aspect.

Lunaversity - crident I made sure to optimise everything I could so it shouldn't affect performance more than similar addons by themselves. As for each script, there are modules that can be disabled which will prevent loading of any code related to that module.
