Freeze! Don't move!
This is a small add-on which adds a Cryo Grenade to your server. What does it do? It freezes players, rendering them vulnerable for a period of time! Ideal if you want to take your time before landing a headshot.
Features
- TTT compatible! You can make it so that only Traitors/Detectives can get them, OR make them spawn around the map for everyone's use.
- Frozen players also have their animations paused
- Custom material to easily distinguish the grenade
- Overlay effect when frozen by the grenade
- Kill a frozen player and they'll shatter into ice! (disabled on TTT)
- Freezes more or less depending on the player's distance to the blast
- Spawnable from the spawn menu for admins
- Easy installation; plop into the addons folder, restart the server and toss at player.
- Configuration is done in cryogrenade_settings.lua - everything is commented
It is generally suitable for any gamemode (TTT, DarkRP...). Contact me if you need it integrated in something in particular.
Installing
Just shove the folder contained in the zip to your addons folder, add the material files to the FastDL (if Workshop setting is off, why would you do that though?) and restart the server
