Hey
Regarding the “remake this 1:1” argument, technically, you could say that about pretty much any addon on GmodStore nowadays. That doesn’t necessarily mean the original product has no value.
What makes Blueprints interesting in the long run isn’t just its current feature set, but its extensibility. The adapter SDK allows third-party developers to integrate their own addons and define exactly what data or configurations can be captured, compared, restored, and migrated.
As more developers adopt the SDK, Blueprints could build an ecosystem of integrations that a simple copy of its current features wouldn’t automatically provide.
Regarding DRM, I want to clarify that its purpose isn’t to restrict how people use Blueprints. Licensing is also tied to Vetra’s connected services, including features like Remote Deploy.
I’m also considering a future configuration panel where server owners could manage their own server groups and environments, such as DEV, STAGING, and PROD, with greater control over how their infrastructure is organized. The goal would be to make this as flexible and self-managed as possible, without imposing unnecessary limitations on normal usage.
As for the $40 price, I’ve heard the feedback, and I agree that it needs reconsidering. I genuinely underestimated the pricing expectations and the scale of the GmodStore economy. I’m planning to lower the price accordingly.
I’m still learning what works best for this community, and I appreciate the feedback, even when it’s critical.
