[Looking for Mapper] Rockford DNC – Cinema to Casino Conversion

Hey everyone!

I'm looking for an experienced Garry's Mod mapper to help modify my existing Rockford map for my upcoming PERP roleplay server, Nexus Realms.

The map (rp_rockford_nexus) is already working properly, including environmental lighting, and I can provide the VMF source file.


What I'm looking for:

  1. Replace the existing cinema with a detailed, realistic casino.
  2. Create areas for slot machines, poker, roulette, and a cashier.
  3. Design an attractive entrance and interior that naturally fits Rockford's existing style.
  4. Add suitable casino lighting, decorations, and furniture.
  5. Ensure the casino has enough space for players to interact and roleplay comfortably.
  6. Keep the rest of the map unchanged, including existing buildings, roads, lighting, and functionality.
  7. Optimize the casino to avoid unnecessary FPS drops.
  8. Compile and test the modified map to ensure everything works correctly.

Project Details

This is not a request to create an entirely new map. I already have a functional version of Rockford with the lighting configured. I'm simply looking to replace the cinema with a casino that feels like a natural part of the city.

The casino should look professional and immersive, rather than just being a room filled with gambling props. I'd love to see a proper casino atmosphere with a reception area, gambling floor, comfortable seating, and realistic decorations.

I'm open to creative suggestions from experienced mappers who have ideas for making the casino even better.
