If I sign up as a solo team, but someone decides to join me, would I have to resubmit my sign up or what?

The form is set to allow editing after submission, so you should be able to just edit your submission if someone joins you.

Will there be a minimum age requirement?

I'm not an organizer but I heavily doubt age being any requirement, assuming you win there could be issues with payouts if you're too young to own a PayPal account but besides that I don't see any issues.

If you do win and you're too young to receive the prize money then we can of course send it to someone you trust like a parent or guardian instead. If you're capable of making a Garry's Mod gamemode or contributing to the development of one you're old enough to participate :)

GGC2020 is now a go and runs until July 31st 2020 23:59 UTC. This means that you have two entire months to make the best possible gamemode.

The current prize pool at the time of writing is: $5,124.55. And now, what you really want to know... This year's theme is:

1. Start with nothing
2. Space
3. Procedural generation

You will be judged based on one of these three themes of your choosing.

We will post a sneak peek of the rubric sometime this weekend, so keep an eye out for that :)

Hey, when I should publish gamemode on workshop?

You're not required to publish your gamemode on the workshop. As mentioned in the opening post your gamemode only has to be on either Github or Gitlab:

Your submission must be made public on Github or Gitlab and will need to follow the Open Source definition.

Your repository has to be made public before the end of the competition.
