How'd you stop people from voting there own shit

Competition was rigged. How did my comic not make the cut...

I enter the room, and I see tons of people shitting DRM in eachother's mouth. I scream in pain, as my wallet tries to escape my pocket and jump into the gmodstore black hole that is absorbing everyone and everywallet. The end.

How are there so many votes, this is fishy.... I think we should have agreed to use ratings beforehand or something. Seems like a more reliable method in hindsight.

Ye, close to 200 votes seems insane to me aswell... Unless the community is really that active?

I agree. Maybe its not too late to pick a different voting method? Seemed a bit odd.

since there's only 5 you guys should use the gmodstore rating system to vote ezpz

So were gonna remedy the problem of vote rigging by only selecting the top 5 voted fanfictions which may have been botted. Seems totally sensible to me... rolls eyes

You could have literally just had the vote on this thread and counted the total funnys on a submission and let the forum decide instead of arbitrarily selecting fanfictions in a closed setting. None of those posts received as many likes on the strawpoll than on the forum. Some of them didn't even receive one////////////////......

Honestly I'm very glad I was barely involved in these fan fictions.

The day Aritz met his overlord.

It was a Winther morning in the kingdom of Gmodstoria. You could smell the lovely smell of urin mixed with the smell of fresh grinded salt and chips. In this kingdom there lived a knight by name Sir Aritz Crack Hole. He was a very young knight. Aritz loved to play with other boys, to a degree that other people thought it was wrong. One day while Aritz Crack Hole was playing with his buddy Neth'ass, which few people liked, and his other friend Rihurd, who was popular once. They met the lonely lord ahshop2, he was lord of his own kingdom, that was placed in the outskirt of Gmodstoria, but Gmodstoria and the kingdom ahshop2 came from, called Color Money Printeria, were bound closer, than any other kingdom, as Color Money Printeria was close allies with Gmodstoria. Artitz he always hated Color Money Printeria, as he was from Aritz bank land, which always had less sales and was always less popular than Color Money Printeria. So one day Artitz got mad and he took his glasses and shubbed them in to Neth'ass cracker, until he cried and started making out with Icarus, Nvs2000 and Vloxan, while Pyro and Dan was watching.

i turned my fanfiction in late (last posts in page 13) so not many people haven't seen it; doesn't this forum allow thread with polls too??

I'm not saying its your fault for getting selected for the finalists, I'm just upset that my awesome relatable comic that received more appraisal than any other posts was not included in the last leg of the competition. I don't think the gmodstore forum does that but in hindsight post ratings are supported. They should have used ratings as each vote is bound to an individual user (steamaccount) and more time consuming to vote tamper.
