ScriptFodder Sellers and VAT

Could we have some sort of 'trusted seller' icon that distinguishes new devs from more trusted devs based on sales and ratings? IE 300 sales with at least 4.0 average rating or something.

That's what rep is for... I'm still waiting for the promised 'Veteran Moderator' badge.

I want to make this a badge soon and have badges show in more places such as forum posts and stuff.

Most digital markets that charge 30% have a visitor count of millions, and the products have a much higher price margin, so they can get away with it.Also, you're not going to "make a little bit of profit"you're going to make thousand of more dollars a month.A website server has very little overhead costs. Any software company has little to no overhead,** you don't even have a marketing expense!**You could literally run scriptfodder with $100 a month!You're branding this system as if its better for the developer, its actuallyworse( any developer that has over a few sales ) I am going to paying now about** 5x the amount I paid before with monthly for scriptfodder alone** ( not counting the already demanding paypal that takes 30 cents + 2.9% on a 2.99 addon ( 10% ) on top of your percentage )Also your staff will now see a huge increase in work load ( which will increase the already high wait time for an addon to be approved ) because now anyone can now post a addon, I hope you're paying them with all this new profit you're going to make.Its your choice, and there are no other alternatives so I am stuck regardless what you do, but please please please please please don't try to mask whats the reality behind your action.

I replied mostly to all of this on your post here but in summary: overhead costs are more then you expect, we will be doing more work with handling VAT and extra development being done on the site, the rate is pretty damn fair at 10%; $15/m was very very generous, people can already submit scripts without a developer subscription, our staff workload will be the same.

I'm from Russia, so Russia are not in EU, how it works for me? Are no more monthly submission, because I not had 15$ per month? So I can publish scripts for free and receive 70-90% of cost?

ScriptFodder will collect 5% - 10% of your earnings depending on how big of a developer you are. VAT is charged to European customers only. VAT is completely irrelevant to developers and is instead only relevant to customers.

II_PYRO_II, I personally do not leak .I am $ 360 + purchase of scripts on SF .And , many French are customer SF ...People who leak are just stupid and solutions are found against their sites ...But, I do not know more ..

i understand that we (the buyer) only pay the vat? so Creator dont pay anything because

ScriptXY cost 1$/0.91€ (23.7.2016/22:39) i buy it and pay 1$ + 19%= 1.19$ and the Seller/Creator become 1$ because the 0.19$ are taken from sf so he dont need to pay anything? (srry for bad english)

Aren't you people tired of asking/answering the same damn question? VAT goes to SF, SF sends it to authorities. VAT is paid by buyer, not by seller. If buyer lives in Europe - he has to pay VAT, doesn't matter if you live in fuckin' Sri Lanka or something - the buyer location matters, you won't be getting that VAT money anyways.

I Second the idea of badges, Maybe implement them like an achievement system in the sense that they can be upgraded for reaching mile stones. Kinda like how csgo badges work.

i mean if only the buyer Pay vat then the seller dont need to pay anything :3

And I Streamer (Twitch.tv/yepco) and I can not afford to salire my reputation amusing me go leaks scripts ... And I largely afford scripts ... Leak is useless ... I also have a developer ...
