Is it possible to add a table for NPC experience values based on their .mdl file?

Killing NPCs gains experience based on their health. NPCs do not have their own experience levels stored.

@Isaac131 The script's ranks is shared by everyone meaning you can't have different types of ranks for different factions with the current GUI.

However if you have the time and skill in lua it's entirely possible to make it so that different factions have different ranks by editing/overriding the function that converts your level to a rank name, which would be the SimpleXPCheckRank() function.

Okay hear me out. Is it possible to configure jobs or maybe people to rank up select ranks

and example: on my starwarsrp i want seperate ranks for fleet from army. is this possible?

Adding a hook for OnLevelChange would be useful, until then I'll add it myself.

I mean anything is possible with lua but there really is no easy way to do it.

You have to make your own script that detects whether or not they have leveled up by keeping two custom variables (their old level, and their current level). if the old level is not equal to the new level, then it counts as a level up. if that new level is equal to your desired rank up level, then give them a ulx rank up.

Okay thanks @Burger :). One last question, is there a way I can set it where when players go up like 5 levels, they get a in ULX rank?

Depending on what you want. There isn't any built in functions that allow you to directly hook the gamemode for when a player is awarded XP.

But you can convert XP into points using SimpleXPAddXP(Player,XP) by setting XP to a negative number to take away XP.

I'm tempted to buy this, but at the moment I have no idea if (or how well) it works in Murder. Does anyone use it on their server and if so, did you have to do much setting up?

@Mirage There are custom ranks that you can edit in one of the configuration files that can allow you to enter custom ranks.

Hi, I was wondering if I put this on my starwarsRP server, would I be able to make change someone's rank e.g at level 1 they would be a PVT and when they get level 2 they'd become a PFC?

@Burger Sorry for not responding sooner, I didn't get a notification that you replied. I looked through the startup logs on the failed attempt, and it seems it is a failed database login, as well as it's causing TTT errors. I'll send this to the Owner of the server and see if he'll make a ticket. 1. unknown - gamemodes/terrortown/entities/entities/ttt_map_settings.lua:24" is the error I'm getting (as well as line 27 and 20, same error just different lines) and it only seems to happen with the addon on the server. I'd re-install the addon but I don't have it myself.

Will this addon show in chat or alert anyone in any way that a player has leveled up?

Hey, so I'm helping dev for a server that's running this addon and it's come to my attention that it's causing a lot of troubles by making the server really slow to start back up after a crash... was wondering if anyone has the same issue/knows the cause of it? We currently have it disabled to prevent this, but it's much requested and we'd like to have it back up asap. Thanks in advance.

It should work with any well-written gamemode out there. If not, I can send an update to fix that or I can give you a refund.

Can I use it with deathrun?

1. Does it work with JailBreak 7?
2. Is there any Pointshop 2 support?
3. Is there a menu to see what people's levels are?

Looking at the Zombie Survival by Jetboom code, there might be some Assist XP issues with some of the zombie classes, but other than that it should be fine.
