No, but you can configure the script to make a message show up if they aren't in the Steam group/don't have a tag on.

Does a UI pop up automatically when a player joins the server prompting them to use the addon?

Would be cool and very useful if new players joining the server got a little popup on their screen that said something like "Put <servername> in your steam name to receive <reward>".... And once they put <server name> in their steam name, they would no longer get the pop up.
