But you do realize coding or not the only difference between developers using this add-on and not is the speed at which it takes to develop what they want, not to mention HUDs are clientside and this "prevention" is completely useless against someone who knows how to steal clientside code.

The HUD should be completely disconnected from your script once exported, and allow the developers who buy your add-on to use to help themselves work on external projects faster.

All you're doing is delaying, not halting, at the cost of more sales (Even from gmodstore add-on developers who want to get the clientside part over with) and their freedom with the add-on (if they don't want a stack of add-ons on their server with no use any-more).

No sorry, it was done voluntarily to prevent people from creating HUDs to resell them without coding, to people who don't have my script.

That's a shame, would there be any possibility in the future to export it into a script?

Else this will be only limited to HUD at all times and will not help at all at using it to create custom scripts (Which will decrease sales from developers).

what about overhead things?

I can't open hud_maker. At first I just put it on my server, then I realized I prolly need an admin rank, so i installed a admin mod and checked allowed usergroups. I still can't open it? Is there another requirement? Do I have to have a gamemode other than sandbox?

Just a couple questions:

1. In your example video, there seems to be a little lag at the end. Is that the HUD or the recording software?
2. Does this support HUD animations?
3. Can the HUD be exported into a script? (So developers can adjust it further if they wish, or make HUDs for custom addons easier)

There is no lua knowledges nedded!

MrDiaboloz The script will work with all gamemodes, however, if the gamemode has specifics like "level" or a timer, I have to add them myself. ( to be able to use %level% for example ) About the HUD sharing, it's already possible to give the HUD to someone else, maybe a day I'll make that you can even share it on the Gmod workshop and if someone has the script and subscribe, it'll add it. I'll look into it!
